Only days ago we reported that host with the most Shah Rukh Khan would be hosting the upcoming Filmfare Awards only to now report that he has been replaced. In the past, the Filmfare Awards have been a podium for SRK and buddy Saif Ali Khan to poke fun at the fraternity. They made their audiences laugh until their stomachs hurt and as a duo, they were a hit. As usual, SRK was scheduled to compere and grace this year’s occasion, but due to a recent shoulder operation the award ceremony had been pushed back a few days.However, it seems that SRK has been shooed aside and this year the fraternity will be treated to a new twosome in the form of Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan who will be hosting the award ceremony. It will be one to watch as Kapoor is known for being quite the “brat” and Imran, the shy-guy. Sources claim that Kapoor and Khan are in the midst of rehearsing a hilarious script which is definitely going to keep audiences in splits.
In fact, Farhan Akhtar and Karan Johar too will be a part of their act only adding to the humor factor.
We’re more than sure that young and happening heart throbs Ranbir and Imran will do a fine job of hosting the ceremony. Move over Shah Rukh and Saif! It seems like the younger kids of the clan are soon going to take over…stage and all!
The Filmfare Awards will be held on February 28th.
