Are you likely to woo a man?
Hmmm, I think once in a way it's fun for a woman to chase a man. I would enjoy wooing a man, who is not paying me too much attention, because I would love to know the reason. He'll definitely keep me on my toes.

So what traits in a man would attract you?
At first instant it would be the way he carries himself. That would be in the way he greets me, my family and in the way he treats the help in the house. But of course with time, it has to be about how bright he is, how good a conversationalist, how emotionally intelligent etcetera. The list is long indeed!

Have you met anyone like that?
I have met a lot of interesting men. But no one has managed to have an effect on me in that way for a while.

What does marriage mean to you?
It's a life-long journey between two individuals.


Are you a romantic person?
Yes, very. I'm very romantic for my family and all my close friends as well. I love pampering my close ones with gifts and surprises.

Is a candle-lit dinner the ultimate in romance for you?
No. The most romantic gesture I have seen is when a man notices his partner is uncomfortable in a crowded room and without uttering a word he goes across and puts his arm around her. Not a single word spoken, but everything said by that gesture.

Romantic Dating - Freida Pinto and Dev Patel

Pinto was photographed nestling into Patel's shoulder during a cosy al fresco lunch date. The actress is shooting her latest film, Miral, in Israel and Patel has flown out to see her.

Rumours of a relationship began shortly before Slumdog Millionaire swept the board at the Oscars in February. Pinto, 24, and Patel, who turned 19 this week, denied they were an item, but their cover was blown by co-star Anil Kapoor. "When I meet them, I feel there is something happening," he said, adding that the couple shared "a magical chemistry".

Pinto's ex, Rohan Antao, blamed Patel for their relationship breakdown. "I don't know if they were having a sexual relationship but if I came face to face with him I would have things to say. Now everywhere I go I see them on billboards. I am devastated," he said.

The lovebirds come from very different backgrounds - Pinto is a glamorous former model from Mumbai, while Patel still lives with his mum in Harrow. It was Mrs Patel who persuaded her son to audition for his debut role in the E4 drama Skins, in which he played a sex-mad teenager.

Slumdog Millionaire has propelled both actors to Hollywood stardom. After Miral, Pinto will film a role in Woody Allen's next film, while Patel has been cast in M Night Shyamalan adventure The Last Airbender.

Recently news was out that the makers had approached RAB NE BANA DI JODI actress Anushka Sharma but the deal couldn't get through since she was still abided by her mentors Yash Raj three film contract deal. Now the makers, it is learnt have approached Deepika Padukone for the same role.

Sources reveal, 'After Anushka Sharma another name being considered was the name of the original heroine from the Telugu blockbuster hit whose name is also coincidently Anushka. But then considering the fact that she is still an unknown face in Bollywood they decided to opt for a more popular young actress in Bollywood who doesn't have a set image and the OM SHANTI OM girl's name cropped up. The discussions are on but nothing has been finalized as of yet though.'


But as per the little birdie within the industry, 'With Sonu Sood more or less finalized in the most powerful male character's role in the film it seems less likely that Deepika would agree to be a part of the film. Considering the fact that he is still not a Bollywood A list star, Deepika might have her apprehensions in working in such a project.


While the makers chose to remain adamant on their choice of Sonu Sood (he also played the main villain in the Telugu original) it won't be easy for them to find a big heroine for their ambitious project.'

We just hope better sense prevails for Deepika and she agrees to do the film. The project appears far better than her 'CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA'.

Bollywood's most talked about married couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai won't be in India for their second wedding anniversary on Monday. They have taken off on a week-long holiday to an undisclosed destination.

"Last year Abhishek was slogging it out in Miami for Dostana and Aishwarya joined him there for their wedding anniversary. This year they were again supposed to be working, though happily together, for the next schedule of Mani Ratnam's Raavan on their anniversary," a source close to the couple revealed.

But Ratnam, who was admitted to a private hospital on Wednesday following breathing difficulty and dizziness, has been advised by doctor to rest for a while as a result the the schedule of Raavan has been slightly pushed ahead giving the pair a chance to go for a much-needed holiday.

"In fact, Mani Ratnam had suggested he'd start the schedule later to give Abhishek and Aishwarya a chance to take time off for their anniversary. But the couple had refused. It's only now when the schedule is pushed ahead that they've decided to take that anniversary holiday," said the source.

Mallika, who visited Millions of Milkshakes in West Hollywood, has been honoured with her very own milkshake called the ‘Mallika shake’, reports Contactmusic.

The Mallika shake includes blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, and chocolate sauce.

To make the shake more appealing, it has been topped with whipped cream.

Meanwhile, the actress is in Hollywood to promote her new horror film Hisss.
